30-Second Verdict
The TinyMight 2 wins — 9.0 to 8.7 — on flavour, cleaning, portability and long-term value. The Mighty+ wins on ease of use, build confidence and battery per charge, and it's still the one I'd hand to a first-timer. One is a Finnish on-demand convection tube you have to learn to drive. The other is a German session brick that drives itself.
TinyMight 2: 9.0/10
Mighty+: 8.7/10
Buy the TinyMight 2 if:
- Flavour is the point: pure convection, the best terp expression of any portable I've tested
- You want true on-demand: about three seconds from button to vapour, with a session mode as well
- You want a battery you can swap for years instead of a sealed pack that sets the device's lifespan
- You're happy to spend a week or two learning technique — and you own a backup for that week
Buy the Mighty+ if:
- You want zero learning curve: two buttons, a minute's wait, consistent vapour every time
- It's for medical use and you need identical dosing on good days and bad
- You're clumsy, or other people will be handling it — there's no glass to break
- You prefer relaxed 10–15 minute sessions to quick, precise hits

The Hook
There are two ways to get across the Peak District, and I've done both.
The first is the sat-nav. You type in the postcode and it tells you what to do. Turn left. Keep right. In 400 yards, you have arrived. It doesn't care whether you know the area. It won't show you the view, it'll occasionally take you the dull way round, and it has never once got me lost. Anyone can use it. That's the entire point of it.
The second is the Ordnance Survey map and a compass. You have to learn to read contour lines. You'll take a wrong turn or two in the first month and end up knee-deep in something boggy. But once you can read it, you see things the sat-nav will never show you — the ridge path, the view over the reservoir, the route that's twice as good as the obvious one. And it doesn't need a signal or a charge.
The Mighty+ is the sat-nav. The TinyMight 2 is the OS map.
I called them the Land Rover Defender and the Ducati Superbike in their own reviews, and the Ducati still stands — but this comparison isn't really about speed. It's about whether you want to be told where to go or learn to find it yourself. My first vaporiser was the original Mighty in 2018, so I've been on the sat-nav side of this argument for a long time. The TinyMight 2 is the device that taught me to read the map.
We stock both at HerbVape.co.uk — details and pricing below.
Vapour Quality
Winner: TinyMight 2 — 9.5/10 against 9.0/10.
The TinyMight 2 is pure convection: hot air flash-heats the herb the moment you press the button and stops the moment you let go. Nothing sits on a hot wall slowly cooking between draws, so the first draw arrives fully formed and the top notes are still there. It's the best flavour from any portable I've tested, and the efficiency follows from the same fact — a 0.15g bowl does the work that takes about 0.25g in the Mighty+.
The Mighty+ is convection for flavour, conduction for consistency, with an oversized cooling unit that makes every draw smooth and cool, even at 210°C. Its review is honest about the missing point: it's the benchmark for consistency, not for peak flavour. It's a sipper — 5–12 draws over 10–15 minutes — and it never asks for technique or punishes you for not having any.
The trade-off is precision against forgiveness. The TinyMight 2's peak is somewhere nothing else in my collection reaches, but it's a narrow peak: draw too hard or hold the button too long and you'll scorch the top of the bowl. The Mighty+ has no peak like that and no cliff either.
The Strain Test, Side by Side
Same jars, same grinder, same weights logged, cooling unit and stem cleaned between strains. Both devices ran the full two-strain protocol in their reviews.
Jack Herer is the strain that shows a device up, and it shows the gap here in the first three seconds. The TinyMight 2 took 0.15g, no tamp, screen set low, through the 55mm stem. At dial 4 (~175°C): pine needles and fresh resin first, lemon peel sharp enough to make you check the jar, then the cooling mint edge — the best Jack Herer on the site, and not a close-run thing. By the third draw at dial 5–6 the citrus was gone and black pepper and dry wood had taken over; two draws at dial 7 finished the bowl. Eight draws in total. The Mighty+ took 0.18g, cold load, no capsule, and gave pine on draw one — but softened, warm pine rather than fresh, the cooling unit sanding the needle-point off. The lemon peel was still faint but there on draw four, pepper arrived properly defined at 190°C, and by 200°C it was earth, leather and light fuel. Twelve draws, every one of them the same as last Tuesday's. The TinyMight 2 hands you the sharpest ninety seconds of Jack you can get from a portable; the Mighty+ hands you twelve good, identical draws.
Wedding Cake narrows the gap, because this strain flatters everything. The TinyMight 2 (0.15g, packed even looser) separated vanilla, sweet cream and dough as three things on one draw at dial 4, then at dial 5–6 butter arrived over baked cake with pepper behind it — I ran that stage twice because I couldn't leave it alone. Seven draws. The Mighty+ (0.2g in a dosing capsule) produced its best passage all year at 180°C: vanilla and cream thick enough to feel on the tongue, and at 190°C butter staying a separate thing from the dough. Its cooling unit adds a weight and roundness that the TinyMight's glass doesn't. Both passed the test that matters: at the top stage, the two strains still tasted like two different plants.
The call: the TinyMight 2 is the better flavour instrument by a clear margin on fragile, terpy flower. On heavy dessert strains, the Mighty+'s rounding stops being a tax and becomes a gift.
Design & Build
Winner: Mighty+, on nerves — both score 9/10.
The TinyMight 2 is hand-built in Finland from American walnut, stainless steel and quartz glass. Each unit is slightly different, the wood develops a patina, and the integrated stir tool is the cleverest in the business. It's beautiful. It's also hand-thrown pottery: my mate Jake borrowed mine for a weekend and brought it back with a cracked stem and a guilty expression. The glass stems are consumables — budget for spares. Early batches also had weak button solder joints; the design was revised and my post-revision unit has been flawless for eight months, but buy from an authorised dealer so you know what you've got.
The Mighty+ is PEEK plastic — medical and aerospace-grade, vapour path included — and it's built to survive your lifestyle. Mine went off the kitchen counter onto tile and came back on without a scratch. Two years of daily use and the only wear is a bit of heat discolouration on the chamber rim. Sarah calls it "the brick". She's not wrong. It looks like something a nurse would hand you in a hospital corridor, and it doesn't care what you do to it.
The TinyMight 2 is the nicer object. The Mighty+ is the one with nothing on it that can break.
Battery & Charging
Winner: Mighty+ per charge (8/10 against 7.5/10) — TinyMight 2 over the long haul.
The Mighty+ gets 6–8 bowls from its two sealed 18650 cells at 180–190°C. With the S&B Supercharger (sold separately) it hits about 80% in 40 minutes; on a standard phone charger it's closer to four hours. Pass-through is limited — don't rely on it. And the cells aren't a user swap: when they fade, it's an RMA.
The TinyMight 2 gets 5–8 bowls from a single removable 18650 — it needs a 20A-continuous cell, so not whatever's in the kitchen drawer. It charges over USB-C in the device in about two hours, with no pass-through, but that matters less than it sounds: I keep three charged cells in rotation and never think about battery life. When a cell ages, you replace a cell, not a device. It also travels better — a removable cell can go in cabin baggage in a proper case, which a sealed-battery portable leaves to whoever's on the desk that morning.
Per charge, the Mighty+ edges it. Over five years, the TinyMight 2 wins comfortably.
Ease of Use
Winner: Mighty+ — 9/10 against 7.5/10.
Turn the Mighty+ on, set a temperature, wait about a minute, draw. It vibrates when it's ready. Double-tap for Boost (+15°C for 90 seconds), triple-tap for Superbooster (+30°C). No technique, no combustion risk, no learning curve. It's the vape I'd give my mum for her arthritis.
The TinyMight 2 isn't difficult to use. It's difficult to use well. On-demand: five clicks to turn it on, hold the button until it vibrates, inhale while holding, release. Session mode (triple-click and hold) keeps it at temperature for 10+ minutes. The dial runs 1–10 with no readout, so you learn positions rather than degrees. The real lesson is the release: hold too long and you combust. My first week ran about seven combustions in fifty bowls. By week four, zero. My golden rule is in the TinyMight 2 review, and it's the whole learning curve in one sentence: release the button the instant you feel the vapour density change.
Dave gave a TinyMight 2 a month and came back to the Mighty+. "Too much faff," he said. "I just want to press a button and vape." That's the whole category.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Winner: TinyMight 2 — 9/10 against 5/10.
This is where convection wins. The TinyMight 2's glass stem takes about 90% of the residue, and the chamber stays clean because nothing bakes onto it. ISO-soak the stem every 10–15 bowls and give the cooling unit a full clean every 20–25. It takes about ten minutes, mostly waiting. One rule that isn't obvious: the walnut never gets wet. Alcohol goes on the glass and the metal only.
The Mighty+ cooling unit is a gunk magnet. By 15–20 bowls the draw gets tight and the flavour gets heavy; push past 30 and you're doing a teardown — separate the parts, soak in isopropyl, swab the corners, try not to lose an O-ring down the sink. I have. Swabbing it while it's still warm after a session and rotating a second cooling unit make it bearable. Dosing capsules keep the oven cleaner but don't help the cooling unit.
Quick cleaning routines:
- TinyMight 2: brush the chamber every 5–10 bowls; ISO-soak the stem and cooling-unit parts every 15–20; monthly check of the screens.
- Mighty+: brush the oven after every bowl; swab the cooling unit warm after sessions; full cooling-unit teardown every 20–30 bowls.
Portability
Winner: TinyMight 2 — 8/10 against 6.5/10.
The TinyMight 2 is a 110mm wooden cylinder, 207g with the battery in. It fits a jacket pocket, and to anyone not paying attention it reads as a torch or a pepper mill. The catch is care: walnut and glass travel like nice crockery, so it wants a proper case. On-demand heating helps — take a hit, cap the stem, move on, with nothing roasting in your pocket.
The Mighty+ is 84mm wide, and that's the problem. Jacket pockets, bags, and the cargo shorts your dad wears on holiday. It's not going in your jeans, and once it's on it's committed to a session. For home use this doesn't matter at all.
Value for Money
Winner: TinyMight 2 — 8.5/10 against 8/10.
The TinyMight 2 costs more up front. What that buys: the best flavour extraction from any portable, true on-demand, artisan build, three years of limited warranty, and cheap replaceable cells instead of a sealed pack. There's also a running-cost argument its review makes properly: roughly 40% less herb for the same effect, because on-demand convection doesn't cook anything you're not drawing. If you're paying prescription prices, the up-front gap can disappear inside months.
The Mighty+'s value isn't the spec sheet. It's twenty years of S&B making medical-grade vaporisers, a mature accessory range, a warranty that works and a knowledge base where every trick has already been worked out. You're not pioneering anything. You're joining a very large club.

Four categories to the TinyMight 2, two to the Mighty+, one level. The shape tells the story: the TinyMight 2 wins where skill pays off, and the Mighty+ wins where skill isn't available — on a bad day, a first day or in someone else's hands.
Temperature Settings Side by Side
The TinyMight 2 has no numbers on its dial, so here's how the positions I use line up with the Mighty+'s digital settings. The dial readings are approximate and vary a little between units.
| What you want | TinyMight 2 dial | Mighty+ setting |
|---|---|---|
| Pure flavour, light effects | 1–3 (wispy) to 4 (~175°C) | 175–180°C |
| Balanced flavour and effect — the sweet spot | 5–6 (~185–195°C) | 185–190°C |
| Finishing the bowl, denser vapour | 7–8 (~205°C) | Boost to 200°C+ |
| Too hot for flower | 9 scorches if you're careless; 10 (~250°C) is concentrates only | Max 210°C |
My defaults: TinyMight 2 at dial 5–6 in on-demand mode, 0.15g; Mighty+ at 185°C, stepping to 190°C halfway, 0.15–0.2g loose. For the full picture on what happens at each temperature, see the temperature guide.
Who Should Buy Which
Buy the TinyMight 2 if flavour chasing is part of your identity. You want the best draw a portable can produce, three-second on-demand for microdosing, heirloom build and a battery you'll never have to RMA. You'll put in a fortnight of technique, and you'll keep a backup vape for that fortnight. It's also the better choice for anyone who travels with a vape, because a removable cell makes airport security a much shorter conversation.
Buy the Mighty+ if you want a vaporiser that works the same way on your worst day. It's the right choice for first-timers, for medical users who need consistent dosing without technique, for anyone whose hands aren't reliable enough for glass, and for households where other people will pick it up.
If you can, the honest answer is both: the Mighty+ for the nights you can't be bothered, the TinyMight 2 for the ones you can.
How I Actually Choose
The Mighty+ lives on the kitchen counter and handles the lazy weeknights and the pain-management sessions: load it around 8pm, two or three bowls, done. It used to be 60% of my total usage; since the Solo 3 v2 arrived it's about 30%, but it's still the default when I'm tired.
The TinyMight 2 gets five or six bowls a week. It's my flavour-first device and my microdosing tool: one or two low-dial draws in the day to stay functional, and the first bowl of any new jar, because I want to taste it properly before anything else touches it.
When Mum came round last month she picked the TinyMight 2 up off the side, turned the top like a pepper mill, and asked whether it did black or white. I told her it was a vaporiser. She put it down very carefully and went back to the pink Veazy, which remains the only device in the house she'll touch. The Mighty+ would have been her second choice; the TinyMight 2 was never going to make the list, and that's the point.
Common Problems and Fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| TinyMight 2 combusts | Holding the button too long, or dial too high while learning | Release the instant vapour density changes; stay at dial 4–5 for the first fortnight |
| TinyMight 2 vapour thin | Draw too fast or pack too tight | Slow, gentle draws; loose pack with the screen set low |
| TinyMight 2 shuts off or won't hold power | Wrong or tired 18650 | Use a 20A-continuous cell; swap in a fresh one |
| TinyMight 2 button feels wrong | Early-batch button issue | Warranty claim via your authorised dealer |
| Mighty+ draw tight, taste heavy | Cooling unit full of reclaim | Full cooling-unit clean; swab it warm between deep cleans |
| Mighty+ charges slowly | Standard phone charger | Use the S&B Supercharger or a proper USB-C PD brick |
The Verdict (The Bookend)
The sat-nav gets everyone home. That's why it's in every car. The Mighty+ is the better device to own if you never want to think about it: nothing to learn, nothing to break, the same twelve draws every night.
But the people who learn to read the map see the country differently. The TinyMight 2 is the better vaporiser — 9.0 against 8.7 — with the best flavour of any portable, cleaning that takes ten minutes, and a battery you'll never have to send away. It asks for a fortnight of respect. It pays you back for years.
Follow the sat-nav if you just want to arrive. Learn the map if you want to see where you're going.
FAQ
Mighty+ vs TinyMight 2 — which is better?
The TinyMight 2 scores higher overall (9.0 vs 8.7) and has better flavour, easier cleaning and a removable battery. The Mighty+ is easier to use, sturdier and better per charge. Choose the TinyMight 2 for flavour and on-demand; choose the Mighty+ for simplicity and consistency.
Can I use concentrates in either?
Yes, with limits. The Mighty+ takes a concentrate pad at max temperature — fine in a pinch, not a dab rig. The TinyMight 2's dial position 10 (~250°C) is for concentrates only, with a pad. Neither replaces a dedicated concentrate device.
Which is better for medical use?
Both work, differently. The Mighty+ gives steady delivery across a 10–15 minute session with no technique and nothing to break, which matters on fatigue days. The TinyMight 2 is better for acute pain and microdosing — relief starts within a minute — but learn the technique on good days so it's automatic on bad ones.
Can I use them with a water pipe?
Both work through water. The TinyMight 2 is excellent through glass with a water pipe adapter. The Mighty+ needs an adapter too. Water makes high-temperature draws noticeably cooler on either.
How long will they last?
The Mighty+ gives most owners years before battery fade becomes noticeable, but the sealed cells mean an RMA eventually. The TinyMight 2's removable 18650 means a new cell resets the battery, so the device lasts as long as you look after the glass and the wood.
Are replacement parts easy to get?
Yes for both. We stock Mighty+ cooling units and S&B accessories, and TinyMight 2 glass stems, cooling units and dosing capsules. Buy spare TinyMight stems before you need them.
About Dennis M.
Dennis M. has been vaping daily for the best part of a decade — since an original Mighty in 2018 — and has tested 50+ devices for this site. He works in IT, has ADHD, and uses cannabis for chronic pain management. He lives in Manchester with his partner Sarah, who can smell a TinyMight 2 combustion from two rooms away and has never once had to say the same about the Mighty+.
A note on spelling: 'vaporizer' is the de facto international spelling, but I've stuck with the British 'vaporiser' throughout this blog.

Strains Used: Jack Herer — sativa (Haze × Northern Lights #5 × Shiva Skunk), ~20% THC, terpinolene/caryophyllene/pinene-dominant, pine-citrus-pepper profile with fragile top notes. Wedding Cake — indica-leaning hybrid (Triangle Kush × Animal Mints, via Triangle Mints #23), ~24% THC, caryophyllene/limonene/myrcene-dominant, vanilla-cream-dough dessert profile over peppery earth. Same two strains, same jars, across every vaporiser reviewed on this site — the strain is the control, the device is the variable. Strain effects vary by individual, batch and consumption method.
