The Wolkenkraft Aris is the Dyson fan of vaporisers. Innovative technology doing something familiar in a completely different way. Every portable vaporiser heats herb and produces vapour. The Aris does that too. But then you take it apart. And you clean the entire airpath. Every surface. Every channel. Every millimetre of the route from chamber to lips.

The ECA system is the bladeless moment. You pull it apart, wipe it clean, and wonder why nobody else thought of this. The titanium chamber is the HEPA filter — invisible premium that makes everything coming out of it cleaner. The pyrex glass mouthpiece is the oscillation feature — smooth, cool, a touch of engineering theatre.

Vapour Quality 8.0/10

At 175°C, the titanium-glass combination sings. Terps arrive individually — limonene first, then myrcene, then the background notes that conduction blurs together. 170°C: Pure lemon. The limonene arrives through titanium and pyrex with remarkable clarity — sharp, bright, unmistakable citrus zest. The terpinolene shimmers underneath, adding an incense-like depth. Three draws of artisan-quality flavour. 180°C: Cream body. The Gelato parentage asserts itself — sweet, creamy, rich. The limonene remains but the myrcene fills the base. Four draws. The convection fan is audible but the flavour makes you forget. The lemon-cream interplay is why pure convection through titanium exists.

190°C: Full profile. Diesel exhale from the Lemon Tree genetics. Caryophyllene warmth. Earthy, complex, complete. Two draws to finish. Don't exceed 200°C for this strain — the delicacy is the point.

The Verdict: Gelonade through the Aris at 170–180°C is a terp masterclass. The titanium chamber adds nothing and that's everything — pure, neutral, clean. Curaleaf Gorilla Girl T24 — Sativa Hybrid (Medical)

The Flower: Gorilla Glue #4 × Girl Scout Cookies. Sativa-lean hybrid. 24% THC, <1% CBD. Caryophyllene dominant, limonene, myrcene, humulene. Earthy pine, diesel, sweet cookie undertone. Dense, resinous, pungent. This flower tests the ECA system — Gorilla Girl produces serious residue.

The build quality is a clear step above budget competitors. The body is solid without being heavy. The gold-plated ring is a touch of engineering theatre — unnecessary, premium, the kind of detail that makes you feel like you bought something considered. The OLED display is crisp and readable.

Mum test: MIXED. Cleaning was the revelation — she pulled it apart and wiped it down. "That was easy," she said. Then it turned on. "What's that NOISE?" The ECA is Mum-perfect. The noise is Mum-hostile. Mixed bag.

The capsule system simplifies loading — pre-pack capsules and swap them without mess. The haptic vibration confirms temperature reached. Stealth mode dims the OLED (though the fan noise makes "stealth" ironic).

The noise is the ease-of-use barrier. In a quiet room, the fan is noticeable from three metres. It limits where you'd comfortably use this device. The living room is fine. The cinema is not.

133g, compact, pocketable. Not the lightest, but manageable for a jacket pocket.

Stealth is compromised by noise. The Aris is visually discrete. Audibly, it announces itself. You can pocket it. You can hold it discreetly. But when you activate the convection fan, anyone within earshot will hear something. Park benches: fine. Libraries: absolutely not.

How I Actually Use This

My Default Setup:

The ECA cleaning system is the value multiplier. A vaporiser you can fully clean will outlast one you can't. Over five years, the Aris's airpath stays factory-clean while competitors accumulate invisible residue. Cleaning is maintenance. ECA is prevention. At £129 with a 5-year warranty, the per-year cost is under £30.

The original Aris (if still available) is a steal — same platform, ceramic instead of titanium, Micro-USB instead of USB-C, but the same ECA system.
