The Hook: The Casio F-91W

Nobody's talking about this vaporiser. After a week with it, I think they should be.

Sarah saw the Wolkenkraft Vita and said "Finally, one that's actually small." She weighs 72 grams of everything: vaporisers, handbag contents, my worth to the relationship. The Vita passed all three tests.

The Wolkenkraft Vita is the Casio F-91W of vaporisers. You'd never show it off. You'd never Instagram it. You'd never bring it up at a dinner party. But you'd never leave the house without it. Vapour Quality 5.5/10

At 190°C (preset 2), the Vita produces thin but genuine vapour. The stainless steel chamber delivers general strain character without individual terpene definition. At 200°C (preset 3), density improves. This is the Vita's functional zone — visible vapour, reasonable extraction, adequate effects. The insulated airpath keeps vapour cooler than expected for 72 grams.

At 210-220°C, extraction mode. Flavour drops, efficiency increases. Two draws to clear the tiny chamber.

The ~0.15g bowl is microscopic. Convection in a Smono No.3 with 0.2g produces significantly more flavour. But the Vita isn't competing on flavour. It's competing on: can you carry this everywhere and dose when needed? Yes. That's the product.

The Strain Test

Two strains. Two Casio-precise timekeeping sessions. Nobody's bragging about the results. Everybody's getting the job done.

Sherblato — Hybrid (Street)

The Flower: Sunset Sherbet × Gelato. Balanced hybrid. 20-24% THC. Caryophyllene, limonene, linalool, humulene. Sweet berry sherbet, creamy gelato, earthy cookie finish. Dessert genetics — big, sweet, forgiving flavour.

The Pack: ~0.15g medium grind, full stainless steel chamber.

190°C (Preset 2): Berry sweetness. Muted but present — the Sherblato's strong terpene profile survives basic conduction. The caryophyllene adds warmth. The limonene gives a gentle citrus lift. Through PEEK and ceramic, the vapour is clean without being detailed. Three draws. The right strain choice for a conduction device — big flavour that doesn't need convection precision to taste good.

200°C (Preset 3): Creamy body. The Gelato parentage fills in — sweet, rich, dessert. Linalool adds relaxation. Four draws. The insulated airpath is doing its job — vapour is cooler than the chamber temp suggests. Comfortable draws.

210°C (Preset 4): Cookie finish. Earthy, flat, efficient. Two draws. Extraction mode.

The Verdict: Sherblato through the Vita at preset 2-3 is perfectly adequate. The dessert sweetness carries through basic conduction. Choose big-flavour strains for the Vita — they survive the extraction method. Like telling time on a Casio: functional, accurate, nobody's writing poetry about it.

Noidecs T15 Shiatsu Kush — Indica (Medical)

210°C (Preset 4): Deep extraction. Sedating. One draw. Evening use only.

The Verdict: Shiatsu Kush through the Vita at preset 1-3 is the medical micro-dosing case. A moderate-THC indica in a 72g device with vibration feedback and one button. This is the prescription vaporiser your GP would design if GPs designed vaporisers. Simple, controlled, impossible to overcomplicate.

These are not budget materials. The aluminium feels milled, not stamped. The stainless steel chamber is properly machined. The PEEK mouthpiece is medical-grade polymer — used in dental and surgical applications. At £78, the materials punch two weight classes above the price.

The size is the design. At 100mm, the Vita is shorter than a credit card is wide. At 72g, it weighs less than the PAX Mini 2 (89g), less than the Flowermate Aura (90g), less than anything I've tested with a name and a warranty.

Real-world: 5-7 sessions at preset 2-3. The tiny bowl means short sessions that drain less aggressively. A moderate evening. Not an all-day device.

USB-C and pass-through are genuine advantages at this price. The Flowermate Aura still uses Micro-USB. The Vita's charging is modern. The capacity isn't generous, but the features are.

Standard conduction cleanup. Brush the stainless steel chamber after sessions. The PEEK mouthpiece should be low-maintenance — early indications suggest it resists residue better than plastic.

Seventy-two grams. One hundred millimetres. The lightest named-brand vaporiser you can buy.

Stealth is maximum. Mum thought it was a USB stick. From any distance, it looks like a small electronic device — vape pen, USB power bank, Bluetooth receiver. At 100mm it doesn't protrude from any pocket.

How I Actually Use This

The Flowermate Aura has a plastic mouthpiece that cracks, Micro-USB, and no pass-through. The Vita has better materials, better charging, and less weight. The value gap is clear.

The Smono No.3 is a better vaporiser (convection, titanium, glass) but weighs 140g. If you're buying one vaporiser, buy the Smono. If you're buying a 72g pocket companion to sit alongside your main device, buy the Vita.

Like a Casio F-91W at £78: you're not buying a statement. You're buying reliability at a price that makes the decision effortless.

Seventy-one quid more from the same manufacturer for pure convection, a titanium chamber, ECA cleaning, OLED, and a 5-year warranty. The Aris is a categorically superior vaporiser. The Vita is a categorically lighter one. Buy both — the Aris at home, the Vita in your pocket. German engineering both ways.
